KFX Technology, based in Brooklyn, New York, designs advanced camera control systems for elite film and TV productions. As their flagship product – the Aurora remote head – transitioned from prototype to professional-grade tool, KFX needed a brand that would appeal to the world’s top cinematographers.
Insight
Turning a Technical Prototype into a Global Brand for the Film Industry
The challenge wasn’t just technical clarity – it was combining industrial design with cinematic appeal to attract A-list DOPs and production houses working on high-budget blockbusters.
Strategy
We began by mapping KFX’s addressable market, then shaping their digital presence and visual identity to match. From brand design to messaging, we struck a balance between precision engineering and creative flexibility – the exact attributes valued by their target audience.
We built a modular, one-page product microsite that felt immersive and high-end, with visual drama that reflected the quality of the product. We also art-directed a suite of photography to showcase the kit in its best light – sharp, cinematic, and web-optimised.
To support ongoing growth, we developed responsive email templates, CRM integration, and proactive outbound strategies to build interest from early adopters and high-value leads.
Delivery
Positioning a premium brand in the global film industry through refined market targeting, high-end design, and strategic digital support.
Impact
KFX systems have since been used on major Hollywood sets – including Star Wars and James Bond (Spectre) – validating both product excellence and commercial positioning.
